Where we are
La Cala de Mijas, on the Costa del Sol, boasts one of the finest beaches in southern Spain, with clean blue water and soft golden sand. For those who want to stretch their legs, La Cala beach has a boardwalk that spans from Fuengirola in the east to Marbella and beyond to the west. It is just a five-minute leisurely walk from the Lemon Tree into the centre of the village, where you’ll find restaurants, bars and cafes to cater to every palate. Alternatively, stroll to the beach (in less than a minute!) and be served the freshest seafood all cooked by Cristobal in his fantastic beach bar.

The open-plan kitchen boasts the full range of features and appliances to make a home-from-home. With everything you need at your fingertips, the only work left for you is to decide on how you want to spend your free time! Into the dining area, there is a large family table for dining, drinks, card-playing and fun.

Downstairs you’ll be delighted with the spaces that encourage fun and frolics but yet still create quiet zones where you can make the most of your hard-earned holiday. In the lounge, you will find a relaxing space all centred around the wood-burning fireplace. Equipped with a Smart TV with Amazon Firestick, you and your friends and family will be able to keep up to date with your favourite television from home.

Created to offer different areas, check out the Summer Room! Try out the Chill-out couch where you can lounge at your leisure and put your feet up, or go to the games zone where you will find board games and cards AND a 42” TV that can be linked to any games console. You even have an Apple Mac on which to surf the ‘net or catch up on your emails!

On the upper level, two bedrooms open out onto sea-facing terraces fantastic for catching the sun or a quiet spot to relax with a cool drink and a book.
The garden
Downstairs you can enjoy your breakfast on the Andalusian terrace in the shade of the Lemon Tree. Or if you prefer a full off family affair, take the garden patio, watch as your family and friends enjoy the large grass garden. Sit in the shade on the designer dining table or get rural with the picnic bench. No Mediterranean holiday is complete without a full-on barbeque spread of the finest local flavours! In the barbeque area, you will find a full-size lava stone barbeque with grill right next to the picnic table. Make your barbeque an evening affair and see the fairy lights throw a magical glow onto your evening!
The secret pool...
Discover the secret swimming pool with its hidden access through the pool changing room. Shared with just three other properties (and barely used), the pool is a great place to play or relax without crowds. This is one of those areas you really won’t want to share!
